內容提要
本書共分三大部分:計本經疏證十二卷,續疏六卷，
本經序疏要八卷。凡疏證藥品一七三味；續疏一四二味；
兩共三一五味。序疏要系以證候分目,敘述諸證用藥及服藥宜忌等。
全書以神農本草經爲主,別錄和唐本圖經爲輔,并取
傷寒、金匱、千金、外台各書的古方,交互参證,逐味疏
解、凡某證宜用某藥,某樂適于某病,均以經方解釋本經的主治,以本經分析古方的應用。這種理論結合實踐的研究方法是合乎科學的。由是對于審證用藥或審藥定方的精義更可獲得進一步的理解,因此本書對本經和古方的研究有着一定的貢獻，是學習中醫的重要参考書。
