Biography Arman Askari, MD is a native "Clevelander" who attended undergraduate school at Miami University, oxford, Ohio and medical school at Case Western Reserve University. He trained in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital (Harvard) followed by Cardiovascular Diseases at the Cleveland Clinic. After completing his training, he was the Associate program director of the Cardiovascular Medicine Training Program at University Hospitals of Cleveland (2003-2005) and at the Cleveland Clinic (2005-2009). He also served as the Co-Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and as the Medical Director of the CEC of C5Research during his time at the Cleveland Clinic. Currently, he is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. He is no longer practicing clinical medicine due to his diagnosis of young-onset Parkinson's Disease. Outside of his medical Career, Arman lives for his family. In addition, he likes to develop strong and lasting friendships. He enjoys exercise, various genres of music, and buying/collecting wine.
